Zapruders, NRC.next heeft een vraag aan jullie

Dit zat in mijn mail. Als jullie willen antwoorden, doe dat dan onder in de comments. Als je het NRC.next makkelijk wilt maken, antwoord je kort en bondig op de vragen en onthoud je je deze keer even van teveel proza er omheen ;)

Ik schrijf een artikel voor nrc.next ter aankondiging van het nieuwe seizoen van Docs at the Docks en vond je emailadres via Zapruder.

Mocht je zin hebben om deze heel kort te beantwoorden: graag!

1. Wat vind je van het initiatief Docs at the Docks?
2. Beschouw je zelf de info in de docu's als De waarheid of gewoon als een andere invalshoek?
3. Wat voor soort publiek komt er, hoe is de sfeer, de locatie?
4. Denk je dat veel mensen die elkaar van internet kennen elkaar hier in het echt ontmoetten?
5. Denk je ook dat er tegenwoordig (door Internet bijv.) veel meer draagvlak is voor complottheorieen enzo? Dat twijfel niet meer uitsluitend iets is voor 'ultra linkse' types?

Goed bij deze mijn antwoorden:

1. Ik vind het een superinititatief, wij ondersteunen het ook zo veel als we kunnen en gevraagd worden.
2. Ik beschouw de info in de docu's niet als de waarheid maar als broodnodig tegenwicht tegen de totaal klootloze en volkomen eenzijdige verslaggeving in de Nederlandse media . Ik heb wel het idee dat de docu's een evenwichtiger, realistischer beeld van een bepaald ondewerp schetsen dan de media dat doen. In die zin is het meer 'waarheid' dan het NOS-journaal of de NRC.
3. Het publiek is divers, hoewel de gemiddelde Idols-kijker of NRC.next-lezer waarschijnlijk niet aanwezig zal zijn. Het is altijd moeilijk met dit soort onderwerpen juist het 'gewone' / grote publiek te bereiken. De sfeer is wat mij betreft te timide, echte discussies worden er nog niet gevoerd en ik hoop dat de organisatie dat wat meer gaat faciliteren. Door bijvoorbeeld zelf het voorbeeld te geven in de tamme vraaggesprekken met hun gasten. De locatie is absoluut super! De organisatie is behoorlijk professioneel en als dus die discussie wat meer ruimte krijgt, is het echt iets om veel vaker te doen en voor de NRC en alle andere kranten om bij aanwezig te zijn en ook vooral in discussie te gaan met het publiek.
4. Ja. Dat weet ik zeker.
5. Het feit dat je het woord complottheorieen 'enzo' gebruikt, geeft mij aan dat jij het soort journalist bent dat het nodig heeft gemaakt dat 'wij' dit soort bijeenkomsten gaan organiseren. No offence please. Omdat 'jullie' je taken niet goed uitvoeren moeten 'wij' dit soort bijeenkomsten gaan organiseren. Dankzij internet kunnen mensen veel effectiever en sneller informatie uitwisselen en wordt het steeds moeilijk voor normale media met slecht werk weg te komen. Denken in termen als links en rechts vind ik heel suf, ik kan er niets mee. Ik voel me rechts noch links. En 'ultra' zal het inderdaad allemaal het wel best zijn als de NRC-redactie het enige is dat je gewend bent ;)
